At Greenlight Driving School, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment. Our school policies are designed to support both instructors and students in maintaining clear communication and accountability throughout the learning process.

✅ Driver’s License Requirement

All students must carry a valid BC driver’s license during every in-car session and while seated in the driver’s position of the training vehicle. This ensures compliance with provincial driving regulations.

⏱️ Lesson Structure

Each lesson follows a structured one-on-one format and runs for a fixed duration. If there are any changes in timing due to delays, the instructor will make efforts to accommodate or reschedule accordingly.

🚗 Safe and Focused Learning

We maintain a one-on-one teaching environment in the vehicle. For safety reasons, no additional passengers (including friends or family) are allowed to accompany the student during driving sessions.

🔁 Rescheduling & Attendance

If a student needs to reschedule a session, we request advance notice. This allows us to manage instructor time effectively and offer that slot to other learners. Missed sessions without prior notice may be forfeited.

📆 Lesson Validity

Students are encouraged to complete their lessons within a reasonable time from the initial booking. Keeping momentum helps reinforce skills and promotes faster progress.

📋 Instructor Assignments

We aim to provide consistent instruction, but instructor substitutions may occur if needed. If a student prefers a particular instructor, they can request this in advance and we will try to accommodate.

🧾 Administrative Terms

All bookings are final and non-transferable. Lessons are intended for the original student only and may not be reassigned under any circumstances.

At Greenlight Driving School, our curriculum and instructional methods fully align with ICBC standards. Each of our instructors is certified and trained to provide accurate, up-to-date knowledge required for safe and responsible driving. Whether you're preparing for your Class 5 or 7 road test, you’ll benefit from structured lessons that emphasize both technical skill and defensive driving techniques — all tailored to meet British Columbia's licensing expectations.

Lesson Guidelines

Our in-car lessons are designed for focused one-on-one instruction and run for a minimum of 60 minutes. This format ensures students receive undivided attention, consistent feedback, and customized lesson plans that match their individual learning pace. Students are encouraged to be punctual; lessons start at the scheduled time. Instructors make every effort to ensure the full session is delivered even in case of minor delays.

To ensure fairness and operational efficiency, all lesson bookings are considered final sale and non-transferable. Cancellations require a minimum of 24-hour notice to reschedule. No-shows or late cancellations may result in forfeited lessons. Students are advised to complete all purchased sessions within 12 months of payment to maintain progress and eligibility. Our policy is designed to support commitment, accountability, and consistent learning.
